Role Summary
As a Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for sourcing parts for new projects of Scania Bus. You will play an important role in crucial cross-functional projects within Scania and Traton. You will collaborate closely with R&D and other stakeholders to meet the demands. Being part of Scania, which believes in “Driving the Shift,” we as individuals have to work closely with our supplier base to create and maintain a stable and sustainable supply chain.

You are a person who:
- Has solid experience with a strong commercial and technical track record.
- Drives complex technical projects and long-term strategies.
- Evaluates business opportunities creatively and understands the commercial impact in the supply chain.
- Identifies and responds to deviations, understands possible impacts, and makes quick and clear cross-functional decisions.
- Possesses strong communication skills.
- Enjoys learning about technology and supplier business.
- Communicates well in English and Swedish.
- Occasional travel and a B driver’s license are required.
To succeed, you are analytical, structured, proactive, decisive, and capable of multitasking. You build strong relationships, represent purchasing professionally, and are self-driven with high integrity, contributing to team and organizational growth. You have an academic degree in engineering, business, or similar, and you also have minimum 5 years of experience within automotive business.
