Senior Accountant

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in financial leasing, strong knowledge of IFRS, and hands-on expertise with Charisma ERP. This role is critical for ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements, including reporting to the National Bank of Romania (NBR)

Job Responsibilities

Requirements:

Minimum 4 years related experience in accounting/finance, preferably in non-banking financial institutions or banks;

Experience in working with an ERP system (Charisma) is a plus;

English -  Medium/Advanced;

 
Main responsabilities:

Review invoices for appropriate documentation/ accuracy accordingly with fiscal regulation and do the bookkeeping;

Maintain Fixed Assets & Depreciation Ledger;

Maintain prepayments & accruals reconciliations each month;

Review accounting entries and perform periodic account reconciliations (AP/AR/GL, VAT), ensuring data accuracy and promptly investigating discrepancies;

Prepare/assist in the preparation  of tax declarations (e.g. D100,D300, D390, D394);

Prepare/assist in the preparation of financial, statistical, prudential reports for the National Bank of Romania;

Support audit processes and ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies

Participates in the preparation and submission of monthly group reporting;

Participate in ERP development projects

Participates in the elaboration/implementation of procedures
