As the Business Development Manager, you will be working with our vehicle sales colleagues supporting the Bus & Coach division covering the UK market.  

You will develop strong long-term relationships with your Bus & Coach colleagues, operators, manufacturers and dealerships and will provide asset finance and insurance solutions that support the sale of Scania Bus and Coach products, both new and used, by following our finance sales process effectively, identifying and implementing key sales solutions for our customers.

You will also be responsible for seeking new business opportunities beyond the Scania brand to expand on the existing customer base and grow additional revenue. By utilising your financial services knowledge and account management skills, you will work towards achieving the business development goals set.

In this role you will:

•    You will establish the customers’ finance needs and work closely with them to meet their expectations and business finance needs.  
•    Be focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with operators, manufacturers, and dealers across the UK.
•    Achieve and exceed agreed sales targets through effective pipeline management.
•    Maintain a high level of market awareness, attending industry events and networking opportunities.
•    Work with your Bus & Coach colleagues to proactively identify and secure new business opportunities within the Bus and Coach sector beyond just Scania products.
•    Require 5 years’ asset finance experience and be able to interpret financial information.
