In this role, you will:
•    Support month-end processes by preparing journals including deferred revenue, accruals, and prepayments.
•    Prepare financial accounting entries and reconciliations related to tangible and intangible assets.
•    Take ownership of assigned balance sheet reconciliations, investigating and resolving queries with care and attention.
•    Collaborate on group reporting submissions, including projections and market plans.
•    Deliver timely and accurate financial information to support both internal decision-making and external reporting needs.
•    Prepare VAT and tax returns in line with regulatory deadlines.
•    Work closely with the Tax & Accounting Manager during year-end audits and the preparation of statutory accounts.
•    Contribute to the ongoing improvement of internal controls and best practices, with a focus on collaboration, innovation, and digital transformation.
•    Provide ad-hoc analysis and support when required, contributing to team success.

 

About you:
•    Qualification: Fully qualified or nearing completion of ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
•    Proactive and self-motivated: Able to take initiative, manage a high workload, and effectively prioritise tasks both independently and within a team setting.
•    Deadline-driven: Comfortable working under pressure to meet tight business deadlines without compromising quality.
•    Highly organised: Skilled at planning and organising tasks to ensure work is completed efficiently and within agreed timeframes.
•    Attention to detail – operating with exceptional attention to detail in all you do.
