An exciting opportunity to join Scania GB as Health and Safety Instructor. You will have a passion for inspiring a culture of safety and creating engaging and impactful learning experiences. We are looking for a creative, innovative, and dynamic Health and Safety Instructor to join our dedicated Health and Safety team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering cutting-edge health and safety training programmes that are not only informative but also highly engaging and memorable.

In this role you will:
• Design, develop, and deliver a wide range of health and safety training courses, utilising innovative techniques and technologies (e.g., interactive workshops, simulations, e-learning modules, gamification) in line with the key risk exposures faced by colleagues at SGB and the Scania Global Network.
• Review and refresh existing training modules to achieve more effective communication with our branch and central colleagues.
• Deliver Health and Safety related training courses both in-person around the Branch network and online.
• Keep abreast of the latest health and safety legislation, best practices, and training methodologies to ensure our programmes are always current and impactful.
• Collaborate with various departments to embed a strong health and safety culture throughout Scania GB.
• Track compliance with training progress through the company’s online portal; evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes and continuously seek opportunities for improvement.
• Act as a champion for health and safety, promoting awareness, inclusivity and positive attitudes across the organisation.
• Provide health and safety advisory support to the core Health and Safety team as and when required
About you:
• A proven track record as a Health and Safety professional, with significant experience in delivering engaging training.
• An ability to deliver IOSH Managing Safely courses
• A relevant Health and Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH Certificate or equivalent).
• A strong understanding of UK health and safety legislation.
• Demonstrable experience in designing and developing creative and innovative training materials.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
• A dynamic and enthusiastic approach to training, with a genuine passion for inspiring others.
• Proficiency in using various training technologies and software.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across GB.
