As a QRIC Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the business with the embedding of process quality controls, leading on the implementation of the risk management framework across the business areas and monitoring internal compliance against internally set policies and relevant regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor and improve operational efficiency and resilience whilst ensuring adherence to industry regulations and internal policies/standards. Your role will be critical in ensuring that we meet both external compliance standards and our own high internal benchmarks.
In this role you will:
• Provide guidance and training to risk owners and other stakeholders on the application of the risk management framework, tools and techniques.
• Implement and embed the tools, policies and procedures required for the business to manage its current and emerging risks, business quality and operational resilience.
• Report on Scania’s risk profile with visibility of important areas of materiality, identification of any key changes in risk materialisation/assessment, control effectiveness and remediation plans.
• Support the business by promoting Scania Group internal policies to improve awareness and embedding.
• Perform compliance monitoring and auditing, reporting on gaps & working with the business to ensure remedial actions are fit for purpose.
• Supporting Scania Group Policy Owners with Group Policy updates/providing feedback, as required.
• Ensuring local policies remain fit for purpose, appropriate stakeholders are involved in the creation/updates of these policies and that they are effectively communicated to all relevant staff.
• Assist in the embedding of Internal Controls across Scania GB: supporting Business areas in adopting the Scania Group Control Catalogue, participating in workshops to identify & assess risks for the Business area to enable the preparation of an annual control evaluation plan, reporting to business area management and overseeing the follow up of remediating activities.
