A Quote from Ben Edwards, our Head of GRC.

“GRC exists to equip the business to effectively manage its risks, supporting and enabling the pursuit of organisational goals and objectives. We are a dynamic and professional team who work closely with management to inform, guide and challenge. Strong cross-functional relationships and trust are key drivers of our success, and I am proud of the department’s reputation for competence and integrity.

For me, the most exciting aspect of the job is being able to “look under the bonnet” of the business, to challenge the status quo and to see the impact that our work has on the organisation’s success.”

•    Take ownership of the New Product Approval Process (NPAP), a key part of the business change process.
•    Support the business continuity planning process, facilitating management’s understanding of and response to key continuity risks.
•    Effectively communicate with stakeholders at different levels across the business.

About you:
•    Coach and Inspire – equip risk and control owners to analyse and manage their risks, inspiring confidence through thought leadership and a coaching style.
•    Continuous Improvement - proactively challenge business processes, suggesting improvements to more effectively manage business risks.
•    Communication & Influence – able to demonstrate sound business understanding, working with a variety of stakeholders to ensure standards are integrated across the organisation.
