Salary: Starting from £33,000 plus an excellent benefits package
Location: Scania HQ Milton Keynes
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.45am to 5pm)

The Site supervisor is responsible for the overall management of the Milton Keynes site and surrounding grounds, ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all facilities. The role oversees internal and external works and manages contractors working on site.
In this role you will:
- Respond to maintenance requests, faults, and repairs, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to site operations.
- Support the Property Manager in coordinating planned preventative maintenance, compliance activities, and corrective works.
- Manage contractors on site, including inductions, Permit-to-Work processes, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and company standards.
- Conduct routine site inspections, maintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety, and operational compliance across the site.
- Carry out Fire Marshal duties, supporting emergency procedures, evacuations, inspections, and health and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate maintenance, compliance, risk assessment, and contractor records in line with company procedures.
- Support the management of company and pool vehicles, including routine inspections, cleanliness, and record keeping.
- Coordinate deliveries, supporting the safe receipt, distribution, and movement of goods across the site.
- Liaise with external contractors to ensure buildings, grounds, and external areas are safe, presentable, and well maintained.
- Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the Milton Keynes Head Office and Scania UK Learning Academy, promoting a safe, compliant, and professional environment for employees, visitors, and contractors.

Desirable knowledge and skills
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.
- Experience within Facilities Management or a multi-site environment.
- Knowledge of statutory compliance requirements relating to commercial buildings.
- Basic understanding of building services including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire systems.
- Experience of managing grounds maintenance, cleaning, and other soft service contractors.
