Full-Stack Developer

Scania is undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation, as Scania’s success depends on flexible and efficient IT solutions that support current and future business requirements.

We’re now looking for an experienced Full-Stack Developer with a focus on Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) to join our team.

The team

Do you thrive in an outgoing and friendly atmosphere, are you unpretentious and eager to discuss solutions with your colleagues? Then this may be the perfect opportunity for you! You will be part of a team of IAM developers working on a platform supporting Scania´s CIAM requirements. We work with new developments, maintenance as well as support for our solutions, making sure that we deliver a flexible and well-maintained service for a global Scania.

The role

As a Full-Stack Developer on our growing team, you’ll play a key role in developing and maintaining a CIAM platform that prioritize security, scalability, and user experience. You’ll primarily work with Java and Python to build back-end services, APIs, and complex integrations that support our security infrastructure. For our front-end services you will be reworking and expanding upon our React-based application.

A crucial part of your responsibilities will be ensuring the seamless integration of identity management protocols, particularly OpenID Connect and SAML, to help us manage user authentication and secure access. You will also be able to learn and explore new possibilities within the ever-changing IAM field.

In this position, you'll also manage cloud infrastructure, using AWS CloudFormation to maintain and optimize our setups. You’ll be hands-on with Docker for containerization and Jenkins for CI/CD automation, ensuring our development pipeline is efficient and reliable. Experience working in Linux environments will be valuable. Moreover, we’re looking for someone who’s familiar with KeyCloak or similar identity solutions.

At Scania, we are dedicated to building a diverse, inclusive, and authentic workplace, so if you’re excited about this role but your experience doesn’t align perfectly with every qualification in the job description, we encourage you to apply anyway. You may be just the right candidate for this or other roles! We hire for attitude and train for skills.

What we offer

We can offer you a dynamic workplace with diverse and challenging tasks in a hybrid work setup, meaning you can work from home a few days a week if the job allows. We can also provide you with an individual development plan that you create together with your manager, so you can reach your goals and receive the right support along the way.

In addition to career and development opportunities, as an employee at Scania, we can offer you other benefits such as free training at Scania's health center Gröndal or wellness allowance, performance bonuses, occupational pension, flexible working hours, lunch at a reduced price, the opportunity for a staff car and much more.

Scania also organizes several events throughout the year where family and friends are always welcome, which is usually highly appreciated by everyone. If you live in Stockholm, we also offer a direct bus service between Stockholm and Södertälje with Scania Jobexpress.
