Scania Bulgaria is recruiting  Presales Engineer to join our team .

As a Presales Engineer, you will provide technical and engineering solutions for Scania vehicles to our dealer network, customers, and bodybuilders. In this role, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders, understand customer requirements, and translate them into practical, compliant, and commercially viable vehicle solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure vehicle specifications comply with current Type Approval requirements, manage specification deviations, and maintain accurate supporting documentation and systems.
  • Evaluate new product introductions by providing technical and legislative expertise to support local market launch decisions and activities.
  • Advise dealers, customers, and bodybuilders on transport engineering solutions and vehicle applications.
  • Provide technical support to the sales team during customer consultations and negotiations, as well as to customers and bodybuilders throughout the sales process.
  • Identify customer-specific technical requirements and develop solutions for non-standard vehicle specifications.
  • Prepare and deliver technical product training for internal sales teams and external bodybuilders.
  • Act as a key user for sales tools, delivering training and ongoing support to the sales team.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree (or final-year student) in Automotive Engineering or another relevant technical field.
  • Previous experience in the heavy vehicle industry is preferred; knowledge of commercial vehicles will be considered a strong advantage.
  • Very good command of English (minimum B2 level), both written and spoken.
  • Proactive, well-organized, and results-driven with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally when required.
