Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and talented embedded system tester to join our team in the exciting field of steering actuators for trucks and buses. We are working both with cutting-edge technology on both not yet launched, as well as, launched steering systems.
Job Responsibilities
As a tester in our team you will have diverse tasks. Everything from writing test cases, reviewing test cases, testing on rigs, to testing in real trucks. You will be part of a diverse embedded systems development team and assist in daily development tasks such as requirement reviews and safety analyses. Your tasks will cover testing activities for our new systems that have not yet reached production as well as our legacy systems that we keep improving. Test methods will span from experimental manual testing to automized regression verification.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Writing test cases by analysing requirements and other relevant sources.
- Participating in reviews of test cases and requirements.
- Execution of test cases in rigs and vehicles.
- Maintenance of rigs and development of new rigs.
- Writing automated tests in Python.
- Planning and following up on test activities.
- Writing test reports assessing quality, safety, and cyber security.
Who you are?
We believe you have:
- A Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in systems Test and Verification. Preferably ISTQB certified.
- Experience with programming and modelling languages such as Python and MATLAB.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- You have at least a B driver’s license (passenger car).
- Work experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.

We are a mix of different personalities and experiences, with different backgrounds which makes us a complementary and diverse team. We work with both in-house developed steering systems, and steering systems developed by suppliers. We have products in different parts of the development cycle; both systems that has already been introduced on the market, and projects in the development phase.
