Mechanical Design Engineer E-mob/ICE Thermal Management

At Thermal & Software, Product Quality, the customer is at the center. Together with colleagues at our department, we are responsible for thermal management for electrified and ICE vehicles. We are also responsible for the software for propulsion batteries. Our mission is to optimize the customer experience. Currently we are looking for one design engineer to join our team, will you take the chance to join this exciting journey?
Your assignment
As a design engineer within thermal management, you will be handling field quality assignments as well as product deviations found at our production units. Through close cooperation with colleagues from eg. R&D, Production and Purchasing, you will support the production flow and introduce product improvements within our areas of responsibility.
Thermal management covers climatization of electric propulsion systems, as well as cooling systems for internal combustion engines. Your assignment will offer a variety of challenges within our complete portfolio, reaching from mature high volume products to the latest electrified vehicles. Typical tasks can be root cause investigations, updating 3d-models and drawings, publishing engineering change orders and technical documentation.
Your profile
You are a dedicated team-player who thrive in a dynamic, fast paced work environment. You are goal oriented and well-structured in your work. You enjoy taking initiatives yourself when there are no instructions available, and get energy from finding the best way forward in cooperation with others. You have at least 3 years of experience from working as a mechanical design engineer.
You have a Master’s degree within mechanical engineering.
