What you will do 
You will be part of the Procurement department, reporting to the National Procurement Manager. Key duties will involve;
•    Supporting and guiding internal stakeholders in the procurement process
•    Commercial responsibility for all steps of the procurement process
•    Undertaking category strategy development and sourcing activities
•    Negotiating contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost and delivery
•    Determining, implementing and monitoring purchasing & supply strategies, policies and plans

 

Who you are
To be successful as a Procurement Category Manager within our organisation, we believe that you will have experience in negotiating and establishing supplier agreements with an understanding of contracts and SLA’s. You will have experience across direct and indirect spend. 

Most likely you will hold a degree in Business or related discipline. You are a strong communicator, proactive and results orientated. You enjoy working as part of a small team, but also work well autonomously. Experience within the automotive industry, while not essential, will be highly regarded.
