CFO
As a key member of the management team and reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD), the Chief Financial Officer plays a pivotal role in steering the company’s financial performance and safeguarding its long‑term stability. This position oversees all financial, profitability, administrative, and financial risk‑management operations of the organization, ensuring that financial strategies and operational frameworks effectively support business objectives. Additionally, the CFO is responsible for coordinating purchasing activities and managing the outsourced HR function to ensure seamless and efficient support across the business.
The CFO is a business partner to the organization, commercial operations and customers, strongly focused and supporting leasing portfolio growth, profitability, return on equity, cash management and competitive cost of funding in market operation.
The CFO is being the first point of contact with regulator, local auditors and bank authorities for completion of directives, reporting and ad hoc queries.
The CFO is also the Company Secretary with active participation in Board meetings and in the decision-making process.
Key responsibilities include:
· active participation in formulating company´s strategy and supporting tactical initiatives,
· development of financial and tax strategies,
· managing the capital risk and budgeting processes,
· managing the accounting, investor relations, tax, and treasury functions,
· monitoring of cash balances and cash flow forecasts,
· liquidity and refinancing risk management,
· statutory reporting
· ongoing co-development and co-monitoring of management control systems, internal controls and compliance designed to preserve company assets and report accurate financial results to several stakeholders.
The profile
We are looking for an experienced Manager with finance experience from relevant position and practice. You have a passion to develop Scania's solutions in new and dynamic environments. To be successful in this role, your understanding of the local environment and the Scania ambition in the region is crucial.
You should have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, you need to have excellent communication skills, fully adopt to Scania leadership, core values and the Scania Way.
Your skills and formal qualifications should preferably include:
· strong skills for effective financial management and analysis,
· experience within treasury, funding and risk management (preferably in regulated entity),
· ability to build strong leadership,
· university degree, preferably in finance or accounting,
· at least 5 years of work experience in line with the requirements.
