IT Specialist

We are looking for an IT Specialist to support the development and continuous improvement of our IT activities.

The candidate should have solid experience in IT support, systems and infrastructure management, with a strong willingness to share knowledge, support users, and contribute to the improvement of internal processes and tools.

CONTEXT & ROLE OVERVIEW

As part of a two-person IT team, the IT Specialist works alongside the IT Manager to cover the full operational IT remit of the organisation. Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the role spans IT project delivery, digital solution deployment on the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, internal process automation, end-user support, and liaison with the leasing software vendor. The IT Specialist is the primary point of contact for day-to-day IT operations on-site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Microsoft 365 / Office 365 solution deployment

Configure and build solutions across the Microsoft 365 suite to address business requirements: collaboration, automation, document management, and internal applications

Internal process automation

Utilise native Microsoft 365 tools and/or Python development (frameworks, scripts, APIs) to automate repetitive workflows and business processes

IT project delivery

Scoping, requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, delivery tracking, and change management for local IT initiatives

On-site support & device management

Laptop setup and configuration, printer and peripheral installation, diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software issues on user workstations

Helpdesk support (L1/L2) & user training

Handle day-to-day incidents and common application issues, maintain procedure documentation, and deliver user onboarding and training sessions

Leasing software vendor liaison

Functional configuration, issue reporting, release follow-up, and management of IT service providers

    ▸ Vendor management

Manage relationships with IT suppliers and service providers: contract follow-up, SLA monitoring, quotation review, and performance evaluation.

IT security & compliance — Group policy enforcement

Ensure local adherence to Group-defined IT security, manage application access rights and user permissions, and support audit preparation at local level

REQUIRED SKILLS & NICE TO HAVE

MANDATORY

  • Microsoft 365 / Office 365 ecosystem

Proven, hands-on experience across multiple tools of the suite in a professional setting

PROFILE & BEHAVIOURS

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering

Experience: 6 to 7 years' IT experience spanning both solution development and project management

Autonomy:  Works independently and reports directly to the IT Manager without day-to-day supervision
