What you will do

Based in the Wellington or Christchurch office and reporting to the Service Director, the focus of this role is to work closely with the branches to support service related activities in the market and business plan, aiming at reaching Scania’s commercial and financial targets. You will be responsible for;

  • Implementing, providing guidance & supporting branches in working with Dedicated Customer Service standards
  • Implementing & managing Scania services applications/programs to assist with the development of workshop & customer support
  • Compiling & analysing financial & performance reports to develop strategies together with branches
  • Coaching, motivating & encouraging accountability in service teams to reach targets
  • Contributing in improvement activities based on a standardised working method

 

Who you are

To be successful as the Area Sales Manager within our organisation, we believe that you will have;

  • Extensive experience in heavy vehicle/automotive retail service
  • Understanding of service/maintenance requirements for heavy vehicles
  • Familiar in the use of OEM applications
  • Experience in working with process and change management
  • A current Drivers Licence
