Digital Service Improvement Lead
Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
Our People and Culture Knowledge Center in Gdańsk is where ideas are taken seriously, development is part of everyday work, and your contribution supports colleagues across Scania worldwide. Today, we are nearly 200 people working across a wide range of People and Culture areas, from People Services and Talent Acquisition to operations, systems support, onboarding, mobility, compensation, and employee administration. Together, we help create a smooth and consistent experience for employees and managers across the business.
About the Role
As a Digital Service Improvement Lead, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement and digitalization of services across Scania’s Knowledge Centre. Reporting to the Head of the Knowledge Centre and working closely with operational and project teams, you will identify inefficiencies, analyse process gaps, translate insights into structured improvement initiatives and implement digital solutions that deliver measurable efficiency gains and service performance improvements.
Working as a partner to operational teams across the Knowledge Centre, you will analyse how services are delivered today and help shape how they can be delivered better tomorrow. Combining data-driven insight with hands-on operational collaboration, you will support the prioritisation, design, and implementation of sustainable service improvements.

- Partner with process and product owners and IT to scope, pilot, and evaluate AI-driven use cases in HR service delivery
- Bring an AI-aware mindset to the broader improvement agenda, assessing where automation can complement Lean/Agile initiatives
- Deliver initiatives iteratively using agile ways of working and ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and embedded in daily operations
Operational Partnership, Standardisation, Change & Enablement
- Act as a trusted partner for operational teams across the Knowledge Centre and support shared ownership of service optimisation initiatives
