HR Administrator

Role Summary

Implements or performs HR administrative tasks connected to a broad variety of HR processes. Communicates around HR-related queries from employees and managers supplying hands-on services through the entire employee lifecycle. Handles sensitive employee and company information, which requires that they maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities

HR Data Management

Carry out a wide range of HR data processing tasks as directed; advise other colleagues and provide guidance on processes when needed.

Employee Onboarding and Offboarding

Initiate and monitor the administration of onboarding and/or offboarding processes to ensure that all processes are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Document Preparation

Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices, such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.

Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records, case notes, and case files, in accordance with defined requirements and procedures, to ensure that information is accessible and auditable.

Operational Compliance

Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards. Obtain authorization from a supervisor or manager for any exceptions from mandatory procedure.

Internal Client Relationship Management

Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization and contribute to the management of the partnering relationship, delivering high-quality professional services within established routines or as part of an agreed project.

Resolving Customer Issues

Respond to basic issue escalations promptly and appropriately; provide managerial approvals as required.

Organizational Capability Building

Provide instruction and informal advice to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.

Personal Capability Building

Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching. Develop and maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
