SAP SuccessFactors Reporting and Analytics Specialist

Scania is looking for a candidate for the position of a SAP Data, Reporting & Analytics Specialist with strong expertise in SAP SuccessFactors Reporting and Analytics, particularly Story Reporting and Role-Based Permissions.

This role is ideal for a technically minded SuccessFactors consultant who enjoys working with data, translating business needs into analytical solutions, and ensuring high data quality in a complex, multinational environment.

About the Role:

As a SAP Data, Reporting & Analytics Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, delivering, and optimising reporting solutions within SAP SuccessFactors. You will work closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to ensure reliable data, secure access, and high-quality analytics supporting global decision-making.

You will also play an active role in improving data governance, reporting standards, and analytics practices across the organisation.

What You’ll Do:

Business Requirements & Design:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business reporting needs
  • Translate business requirements into technical reporting designs

SAP SuccessFactors Reporting & Analytics:

  • Develop, configure, and deploy reports and dashboards using Story Reporting
  • Apply best practices in data visualisation, reporting design, and analytics
  • Act as a subject-matter expert for SuccessFactors Reporting & Analytics

 Role-Based Permissions (RBP):

  • Configure and manage role-based permissions to ensure secure access to data and reports
  • Support compliance with internal data protection and governance standards

Reporting Catalogue & Service Management:

  • Maintain and manage the reporting service request backlog
  • Support prioritisation and delivery of reporting requests

Testing & Optimisation:

  • Perform testing, troubleshooting, and optimisation of reporting solutions
  • Ensure reports meet business objectives and data quality standards

Training & Knowledge Sharing:

  • Deliver training and guidance to users on reporting tools and reporting best practices
  • Support adoption of reporting solutions across the organisation

Data Analysis & Quality Reporting:

  • Proactively analyse data to identify errors, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Produce regular data quality reports for global stakeholders
  • Support follow-up actions with responsible teams across regions

Stakeholder Collaboration:

  • Work closely with HR, IT, and other business units to resolve data-related issues
  • Ensure availability of high-quality, reliable data across the organisation

Continuous Improvement:

  • Continuously review and improve data governance, reporting processes, and quality controls
  • Contribute to standardisation and optimisation of analytics practices

What You Bring:
Experience & Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience as an SAP SuccessFactors Reporting Analyst in a multinational environment
  • Strong hands-on experience with: SAP SuccessFactors Reporting & Analytics, Story Reporting, Role-Based Permissions (RBP)
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to interpret complex data and reporting requirements
  • Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration and requirement gathering
  • Deep understanding of the SAP SuccessFactors data model
  • Knowledge of SuccessFactors modules and HR/People processes
  • App development knowledge is an advantage
  • English – fluent (mandatory)
  • SAP SuccessFactors certifications, with a focus on Reporting and Analytic
  • Proven expertise in Story Reporting

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level 6
