AML Analyst

Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies, and develop and implement compliance policies in liaison with regulators. Assess and report on compliance risks, investigate incidents and take action to ensure compliance. Has knowledge of government laws and regulations affecting the company's business area, and ability to interpret laws and regulations in light of operations. Ensures all external regulatory frameworks are complied with within reasonable risk and cost parameters.

Job Responsibilities

Regulatory and Compliance Management

Investigate standard incidents using current regulatory and compliance processes, systems and procedures, and take action to solve immediate compliance issues. Advise more senior colleagues on more complex problems.

Regulatory Affairs

Deliver pre-established outcomes and/or provide support services while operating within the organization's established regulatory and governance systems and protocols.

Quality Management System

Carry out a range of quality management activities under the guidance of senior colleagues to contribute to the identification and evaluation of current policies and business processes that are in the scope of the Quality Management System and to support the design, development, and documentation of new policies, procedures, and business processes.

Audit Compliance

Carry out specified audit activities and draft reports of findings, including recommended corrective actions, for review by lead auditor.

Stakeholder Engagement

Support stakeholder engagement by arranging actions, meetings, and events.

Policy Development and Implementation

Provide routine support services to others.

Organizational Capability Building

Provide instruction and informal advice to less experienced colleagues within the team to develop their skills.

Information and Business Advice

Resolve complex queries from internal or external customers or suppliers by providing information on policies and/or procedures, referring the most complex issues to others.

Document Preparation

Prepare moderately complex documents using a variety of applications for technology devices such as standard office software. Also responsible for gathering and summarizing data for reports.
