Contracted Services Analyst

Role Summary

We are seeking a highly analytical Contract Analyst to support commercial and operational decision-making within the automotive industry.

 

The role focuses on analysing supplier, customer, and operational contracts, leveraging data science, AI, and business intelligence tools to improve contract performance, compliance, cost management, and strategic sourcing decisions

Job Responsibilities

  • Analyse supplier, and commercial contract data to identify risks, trends, and optimisation opportunities.
  • Monitor contract compliance, pricing structures, SLA adherence, and supplier performance.
  • Lead complex contract pricing and cost analyses, including evaluation of rate structures, discounting, and financial impact across the contract lifecycle.
  • Perform cost analysis, forecasting, and trend analysis related to supplier and customer contracts.
  • Develop and maintain contract templates, pricing models and cost models to support consistent and scalable contract execution.
  • Use AI and automation tools to improve contract analysis, data extraction, and compliance monitoring.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to track contract performance and commercial KPIs.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, Legal, Operations, and Compliance to resolve escalations and drive alignment.
  • Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and internal reviews by providing analysis, documentation, and expert guidance.
  • Build SQL queries to extract and analyse operational and commercial datasets.
  • Support teams with contract intelligence and spend analysis.
  • Create business insights through Power BI, Tableau, and Excel-based reporting.

Applicant must meet these minimum requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in contract analysis, data analytics, procurement analytics, or commercial analysis.
  • Strong SQL experience.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Power Query, Pivot Tables, Advanced Formulas).
  • Experience with Power BI and Tableau.
  • Strong understanding of AI tools and automation in business analysis.
  • Experience in automotive, manufacturing, supply chain, or procurement environments preferred.
  • Experience with contracts and procurement processes - advantageous
  • Automotive manufacturing, banking experience - advantageous
  • Machine learning or predictive analytics experience - advantageous
  • ERP systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
