Driver Training and Demo Manager

Role Summary

This role is responsible for managing the overall training activity within the designated region, developing the network and upholding a positive brand image.

Applicant must meet these minimum requirements

• Matric certificate
• Previous experience as a driver trainer or instructor for heavy vehicles
• Valid EC drivers licence with PRDP
• Previous workshop Experience with repairing and maintaining heavy vehicles
• Must have a SETA - Facilitator/ Assessor – Certificate
• Computer skills MS Office
• Ability to travel - role requires frequent travelling
• Medically Fit

• Ability to instruct drivers in a safe and professional manner
• Excellent Knowledge of the Scania products and services
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of all current applicable traffic laws and regulations pertaining to driving and safety
• Ability to prioritize workload and work under pressure
• Ability to adapt training according to the target group
• Ability to work with different training methods or techniques
