ABOUT THE PROGRAMME:
Scania is proud to launch its 2026 Graduate Programme, offering aspiring young professionals the opportunity to gain hands-on, practical exposure across four key business areas: Finance, Procurement, Assurance, and Marketing. This structured programme is designed to give graduates real workplace experience, supporting the day-to-day operations of their department while working closely with and assisting managers on a variety of tasks.

We are looking for driven, reliable, and eager-to-learn individuals who are ready to bring energy and commitment to any of these four departments
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Completed a relevant 3-year Diploma or Degree (see department requirements below)
- South African citizen or permanent resident
- Valid South African ID document
- National Senior Certificate (Matric)
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a commitment to continuous learning
Role Summary
1. Finance Graduate
Relevant Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Finance. The Finance graduate will support day-to-day finance functions, gaining exposure to core accounting operations and administrative processes within the department.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily banking
- Vendor parking of invoices
- Debtors and creditors age analysis
- Cashbook, accounts receivable and accounts payable support
- Reconciliations
- Filing and completion of bank forms, and general administration
2. Procurement Graduate
Relevant Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. The Procurement graduate will be exposed to the day-to-day operations of the procurement function, assisting the department manager with smaller, lower-responsibility tasks while learning how sourcing, ordering, and supplier administration work in practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with day-to-day procurement and sourcing operations
- Supporting managers with smaller tasks and ad hoc requests
- General procurement administration and documentation
- Filing and record-keeping
3. Assurance Graduate
Relevant Diploma or Degree in Internal Auditing, Risk Management, Accounting, or a related field. The Assurance graduate will support the day-to-day operations of the department, assisting the manager with smaller, lower-responsibility tasks and general administrative work related to governance, risk, and assurance processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with day-to-day assurance and administrative operations
- Supporting managers with smaller tasks and ad hoc requests
- Document preparation, review support, and record-keeping
- Filing and general administration
4. Marketing Graduate
Relevant Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Communications, Brand Management, or a related field. The Marketing graduate will support the day-to-day operations of the department, assisting the manager with smaller, lower-responsibility tasks across campaigns, content, and general marketing administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with marketing campaigns and content creation
- Supporting social media and digital marketing activities
- Assisting with event coordination and brand activations
- Supporting basic market and competitor research
- General marketing administration and documentation
