Role Summary
We are looking for a Real Estate & Facility Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant company facilities. You will manage maintenance, construction, space planning, contractors, and drive sustainability and e-mobility initiatives to support business goals.
Job Responsibilities
- Lead and implement the Facility Management program across the region, including preventive and regular maintenance, life-cycle planning, and cost efficiency initiatives.
- Plan, coordinate, and supervise all technical installations (telecommunications, electricity, HVAC, BMS) and ensure the proper functioning of equipment and workshop tools.
- Manage construction and infrastructure projects – from initial planning, permitting, and tendering to supervision of works, budget control, and final handover.
- Conduct and document regular facility inspections to ensure operational reliability and compliance with health, safety, environmental, and Scania DOS standards.
- Plan and optimize the allocation and use of space in both existing and new facilities to achieve maximum efficiency and functionality.
- Oversee maintenance operations by preparing maintenance plans, organizing contractors, and ensuring timely and quality execution of regular and emergency repairs.
- Manage external partners and suppliers – preparing requests for quotations, evaluating tenders, and monitoring the delivery of agreed services and project outcomes.
- Drive sustainability and e-mobility initiatives, including projects to reduce CO₂ emissions from buildings and company vehicles, transition of the fleet to BEV/PHEV, and development of EV charging infrastructure.
- Support network development activities, including identifying new locations, coordinating investment projects, and ensuring alignment with Scania Facility Standards and long-term strategic goals.
Our Expectations
We are looking for a responsible and proactive Real Estate & Facility Manager with proven experience in managing company facilities and infrastructure. Strong knowledge of MS Office tools, advanced English skills, excellent communication and negotiation abilities, and a team-oriented mindset are essential.
