Operations Lead

Role: Operations Lead

Location: Remote and flexible, preferably in Europe due to time differences.

Salary: Based on local conditions in the county you are located in.

 

 

As Operations Lead you will play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of your regions marketing projects over the next 12 months. Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will track and monitor project progress, communicating and collaborating with key marketing stakeholders to ensure that the regions marketing goals are met in a timely and efficient manner.

This is a 12-month contract, and a fantastic opportunity to make a positive impact and gain exposure across Scania’s Northern Europe region.

 

 

In this role you will:

  • Provide a daily focus to the region, tracking and reporting on the project transition of marketing communications services to the new target operating model over the 2025/26 period.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Stakeholders and the Heads of Community to deliver and report on project progress, timelines and completed actions.
  • Collate and report on the high-level KPI’s for the new way of working, including financial controls, budget, recharging, and allocations.
  • Work with the Senior Sponsors to define a detailed roadmap to ensure a smooth transition to the new way of working.
  • Define and implement the pre and post go live support model to ensure change is embedded successfully.
  • Ensure that the service definition is documented detailing the scope of service offering and required operational performance measures.
  • Proactively act on deviations and escalate when necessary.
  • Work alongside and seek support from the Regional PMO and Corporate Scania.
  • Create and manage a project plan to include activities from workstreams which include Operations, People & Culture, Training, Change Management, Legal, Finance, IT and Compliance.

 

About you:

  • Organised – able to oversee and prioritise multiple projects at the same time.
  • Excellent Communicator – communicating clearly with stakeholders and the Marketing Director, to ensure every party is on track and understands their next steps.
  • Stakeholder Management – continuously keeping an eye on the overarching objectives and managing the expectations of the marketing Leadership Team in the region.
  • Attention to Detail – accurately tracking the progress of projects through to completion.
  • Project Management Experience – experience managing and delivering large projects in line with deadlines.
