Job Title: Head of Market Strategy

We have an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in Scania achieving its global brand position of, ‘Driving the shift to a sustainable transport solution'. 

As ‘Head of Market Strategy’ you will investigate the world around Scania to then create, prioritise and inspire both internal and external stakeholders towards a clear vision of our collective future.  You will become the voice and consciousness to ensure Scania continues to drive towards a sustainable and prosperous offering for our customers. 

 

In this role you will:
•    Enhance Scania GB’s 2030 objectives into a clear and concise vision that brings together all areas of the operation.
•    Drive the design, development and be the voice of our future customer journey, breaking out key experiences to co-ordinate improvement programmes towards.
•    Monitor industry trends, regulatory change and central strategy, then impact assess against our future customer experiences and internal architype work flows to distil areas of development
•    Work with the Head of Business Change to define a 5 year improvement programme road map and performance measure the delivery of it against the strategic path
•    Alongside Business Operations, review input on high level pain points from today’s operation and assess their potential impact to the future strategy (in conjunction with SME’s)
•    Develop and deliver a communication strategy to inspire the Scania team towards our common vision and mission, bringing to life what our future world will look and feel like for all roles in the business.
•    Foster strategic partnerships and relationships with external stakeholders to enhance business opportunities and operational effectiveness.
•    Enable clear communication of strategic goals, requirements and outcomes to key stakeholders, and actively seek alignment 
•    Where required, manage the engagement of third-party and/or outsourced vendors to deliver any aspects of the programme scope 
•    Proactively and diligently identify and manage risks and issues, and escalating through the programme governance structure as required 

About you:


•    Leadership – a results-driven and visionary leader with a proven track record in developing and executing comprehensive market strategies across large, multidisciplinary organisations.
•    Collaboration - extensive collaboration with key stakeholders across the business ensuring end to end delivery of our strategy from pre-sales, sales, aftersales to disposal.
•    Strategic planning - expertise in market analysis, strategic planning, and cross functional leadership, ensuring alignment with business objectives and driving sustainable growth, capturing emerging opportunities.
•    Communication & Influence – influence change, creating understanding through effective communication.
