The Product Designer will play a crucial role in designing user experiences and interfaces that are both intuitive and visually compelling. This role demands a balance between deep UX expertise and strong UI design skills, with an emphasis on creating data-driven, user-centred products. The ideal candidate will be analytical, detail-oriented, and capable of working autonomously, while also being confident in influencing senior stakeholders.

 

In this role you will:

•    Conduct a thorough range of research using a variety of methods to gather industry and customer insights, user behaviours, and pain points.
•    Utilise findings to inform UX design decisions and create solutions that align with business objectives.
•    Lead on the UX design process, from ideation to implementation. 
•    Design visually appealing interfaces that are consistent with the existing design system and brand guidelines. 
•    Ensure that UI elements enhance usability and support the user experience.
•    Utilise data analytics and user feedback to make informed design decisions.
•    Continuously test and iterate on designs to optimise user experience and interface effectiveness.
•    Confidently present design concepts and recommendations to senior stakeholders, using data and research to support decisions. 

 

About you:

•    Initiative & confidence - Proactive in driving projects forward, confident leading workshops and experience presenting ideas and recommendations to stakeholders.
•    Analytical - Highly analytical, with an innovation mindset and the ability to dive into the detail, using data to inform design decisions and optimise user experiences.
•    An excellent communicator – building rapport with stakeholders to identify problem statements and work cross-functionally throughout the business, building trust and understanding.
•    Design system experience - Experience working within and contributing to design systems. 
•    UI design: Strong UI design skills, with a keen eye for detail and an understanding of how to create visually compelling interfaces that support usability.
