What you will do
On this assignment, you will guide your empowered product teams to deliver outcome and drive change together with our great management team. Your responsibilities will include coaching, nurturing competence development, fostering a strong engineering culture, and promoting collaboration.
The group’s mission is to collect logging data from our global test vehicle fleet and make the data easily accessible for the global Traton R&D organisation. In practice, this typically comes down to installing logger-equipment in vehicles, sending logging data over mobile network, processing data in AWS and Snowflake, and making data available to our consumers. The outcome is a data-driven development loop as we test our future vehicles in real operations around the globe.
Today the group consists of 13 members organized in two teams. The group is based in Sweden and consists of data engineers, cloud engineers, and hardware logger specialist. The teams work with consumers and test vehicles around the globe.

- Support, coach and develop your team to deliver value and achieve both collective and individual goals.
- Sympathise with the data consumers and guide your teams in the search for opportunities to make the consumers even more successful in their work.
- Drive continuous improvements to streamline work in meeting customer needs.
- Take part in technical discussions to support the team in building high-quality products.
- Cross-functional work with our consumers and various stakeholders within the global Traton R&D organisation.
Who you are
You have a leadership-background in agile software development and you strive to improve your way of leading yourself and others. As a leader you communicate expectations and use feedback to drive development of both team and individual. You have a deep understanding of the agile manifesto and what it truly stands for.
The role requires that you are a good coach and adapt your leadership to different situations.
Relevant background
- M.Sc. in a relevant engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
- Strong servant leadership skills, with a focus on empowering the team to achieve expected outcome.
- Experience in leading and driving change.
- Experience in software development, with the ability to engage in technical discussions.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
