ADDS technician

Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ADDS Technician to join our Directory Services team. In this role, you will manage, maintain, and optimize our Active Directory Domain Services environment to ensure secure, stable, and efficient user access across the organization. You will support authentication, authorization, and identity management processes, while also contributing to system enhancements, security initiatives, and automation efforts.
As we have a diverse team you need to be able to communicate in English.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain Active Directory environments
  • Ensure optimal domain controller health, replication, and DNS integration
  • Implement and monitor AD security policies and access control measures
  • Support hybrid identity solutions involving Entra
  • Troubleshoot issues within the AD environment
  • Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation and reporting
  • Collaborate with IT operations, network, and security teams on infrastructure initiatives
  • Participate in system upgrades, patch management, and disaster recovery planning

Who You Are

  • Proven experience administering Active Directory Domain Services (ADDS)
  • Solid understanding of Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022)
  • Experience with DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management
  • Familiarity with Entra and identity and access management (IAM) principles
  • Proficiency in PowerShell or other scripting languages
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience working in enterprise or multi-domain environments

The team consist of highly skilled colleagues and we strongly value collaboration and teamwork. We have adopted agile methods and run PI planning every 10 weeks together with the rest of the IAM organization. Except for technicians we have a Product Owner and a Scrum Master in the team.
