Role Summary
AI product leader
This role is centred around AI. It contributes to getting commercial value out of end-to-end AI solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Product Ownership & Strategy
- Own and manage the product backlog (including Jira), ensuring that priorities align with strategic objectives and deliver real business outcomes.
- Translate business and user needs into clear, actionable requirements and acceptance criteria for the development team.Oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle — from discovery and concept validation to implementation, rollout, and continuous improvement.
- Drive measurable business impact by defining and tracking KPIs and success metrics for all AI and analytics products.
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate product vision, priorities, progress, and results effectively — adapting communication to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Gather feedback from end users and stakeholders, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business needs.
Governance, Compliance & Operations
- Ensure all AI products and solutions comply with relevant laws, ethical standards, and Scania’s internal frameworks.
- Oversee access management and incident management for all AI & Analytics systems, ensuring issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
AI & Technical Expertise
- Bring deep understanding of Artificial Intelligence, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Machine Learning techniques, including their development, deployment, and governance considerations.
- Collaborate closely with data scientists and engineers on model lifecycle management, MLOps, and the responsible use of generative AI technologies.
- Leverage data platforms such as Snowflake and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) to support scalable, secure AI solutions.
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies, tools, and best practices to guide innovation within the organization.
About you
We believe you have:
- several years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership
- preferably leading full-cycle AI and analytics products from proof of concept (PoC) through to production implementation and integration
- Proven track record of delivering AI/ML and Generative AI products that create measurable business impact
- Strong technical foundation in AI/ML principles, including model development, deployment pipelines, data governance, and ethical AI
- Experience working within Agile or Scrum environments, with demonstrated ability to manage complex backlogs and competing priorities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — able to bridge business strategy and technical execution
- Familiarity with data platforms (Snowflake), cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and modern analytics toolsets
