Role Summary

As an Accountant at TRATON Financial Services, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely accounting according to Swedish K3 standards and reporting in line with IFRS. You will contribute to building a sustainable, modern and efficient accounting function by working with daily accounting tasks, reconciliations, fiscal reporting and continuous process improvements. The role reports to the Head of Accounting and includes close collaboration with internal stakeholders across TFS and the TRATON Finance Community, as well as external parties such as auditors, tax authorities, ECB and banks.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute daily operational accounting tasks.
• Perform weekly and monthly reconciliations.
• Manage month-end reporting in alignment with IFRS requirements.
• Handle fiscal reporting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Prepare annual reports and liaise with auditors.
• Drive improvements in accounting processes, systems, and reporting routines.
• Support the organization with ad hoc financial requests.
• Collaborate with TFS colleagues to ensure accurate accounting data.
• Partner with TRATON Group colleagues to secure high-quality reporting.
• Contribute to innovation and change through cross-functional cooperation, efficient information gathering, and active participation in digitalization initiatives.

Who You Are

• You hold a university degree in finance or equivalent education, such as a YH degree within accounting.
• You bring 3–5 years of experience in accounting, including hands-on work with accounting records, reconciliations, currency handling, audits, banking, accounts payable/receivable and fiscal reporting.
• You have strong analytical skills and work efficiently with high precision.
• You are motivated by continuous improvements and feel comfortable operating in an international environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - you can engage effectively across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
