Business Controller
Scania Credit Group (SCA), one of the captive Scania Financial Services entities, offers financing and insurance in the Middle East, Central Asia, and West Africa. SCA has become a leader in factoring solutions for non-captive dealers and body-builders, supporting Scania's goal to reduce CCC and offload its balance sheet. We have partnered with external credit insurers to mitigate commercial and political risks in certain transactions. SCA is expanding into new markets, particularly in the AMC region.
Based in Södertälje, the SCA Head Office and Market Support Centre provides governance, strategic development, credit risk management, contract administration, and IT support. With 50 employees, including 30 in Södertälje, we manage around 250 MEUR of assets across 10+ markets.

Join our team as a Business Controller, where you will contribute to both day-to-day controlling activities and the continued evolution of our finance function.
This is a broad and engaging role where you will combine financial analysis and business controlling with process improvement and digitalization initiatives. As our business continues to grow, you will play an important role in strengthening reporting capabilities, enhancing finance processes, and providing insights that support better decision-making across the organization.
You will contribute to monthly closing and reporting activities, business planning, forecasting, and management reporting, while helping to build efficient and scalable ways of working for the future. The role offers broad exposure across finance and the opportunity to collaborate with stakeholders across multiple international markets.
Job Responsibilities
Main responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the monthly closing process together with the Finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Perform financial performance analysis, business follow-up, and forecast reporting to support informed decision-making
- Prepare, monitor, and follow up on budgets, forecasts, and long-term business plans
- Support Group reporting and help ensure high-quality financial reporting and compliance
- Prepare financial presentations, reporting material, and analyses for the Board, Regional Management, and Leadership Teams
- Collaborate closely with the Financial Controller to meet evolving reporting, governance, and compliance requirements
- Partner with the Business Controller on strategic initiatives, ad hoc analyses, and cross-functional projects that support business growth and continuous improvement
- Drive digitalization and automation initiatives within Finance to enhance reporting capabilities and ways of working
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase efficiency, strengthen data quality, and support scalability
- Act as a key support for the organization regarding reporting guidelines, financial systems, and finance best practices
- Contribute to the development of controlling processes and internal controls as the business continues to grow
Who You Are
You enjoy working with numbers and transforming data into meaningful business insights, but you are equally motivated by improving processes and finding smarter ways of working. You are analytical, structured, and proactive, with the ability to balance attention to detail with a broader business perspective.
To succeed in this role, you:
- Hold a degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, combined with a few years' experience in Business Controlling, Financial Controlling, Financial Reporting, or a similar role
- Have experience in financial reporting, planning, forecasting, and analysis
- Are analytical, curious, and solution-oriented
- Have strong communication skills and enjoy collaborating with stakeholders across functions
- Thrive in an international and dynamic business environment
- Are a team player who values knowledge sharing and collaboration
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
- Have excellent skills in Excel and PowerPoint
- Have experience with HFM, Power BI, or other finance systems (considered an advantage)
