Business Controller to Erinion

Your role As a Business Controller at Erinion, you will play a key role in driving financial performance and providing strategic insights that shape our business decisions. You will work closely with the CFO, senior leadership, and cross-functional teams to analyze financial data, support commercial strategy, and improve operational efficiency.
In this role, you will be play a key role in financial planning, business performance tracking, and profitability optimization – ensuring that your insights directly support Erinion’s growth journey and international expansion.
Your responsibilities
· Lead financial analysis, business performance tracking, and cost control initiatives.
· Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and reporting structures to support decision-making.
· Work closely with commercial and operational teams to evaluate customer proposals and support business case development.
· Prepare financial material and presentations to support strategic initiatives and board-level discussions.
· Drive budgeting and forecasting processes in alignment with the company’s objectives and growth ambitions.
· Conduct variance analysis and deep-dive reviews – including invoice-level investigations – to ensure financial accuracy and identify improvement opportunities.
· Contribute to the structuring and assessment of financing options in connection with strategic customer or partner agreements.
· Support process improvements, automation, and enhanced data transparency using data analytics tools like PowerBI and Excel.
Your Profile
We are looking for an analytical and business-driven finance professional who thrives in a dynamic and growth-focused environment. You have strong financial acumen, a strategic mindset, and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. You are proactive, collaborative, and eager to make an impact in a fast-evolving industry.
· Bachelor's or master's degree in finance, business administration, accounting, engineering, or a related field.
· 4+ years of experience in business controlling, financial analysis, management consulting, or a similar role.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide strategic recommendations.
· Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
· Proficiency in financial modelling in Excel and other business intelligence tools
· Strong proficiency in financial systems and digital tools, with a focus on process mapping and automation. Experience in leveraging AI-driven technologies to optimize financial workflows and decision-making is a plus.
· Fluency in Swedish and English
· Experience in a fast-growing, international, or scale-up environment is a plus.
