Business Developer for Packaging Process

Role Summary
The Packaging Assortment & Selection Team (OAPB) is looking for a dynamic Business Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be crucial in the TRATON common PD process, focusing on developing and securing the future packaging selection process. You will collaborate with Production, Logistics, and Procurement to ensure seamless integration and efficiency. You will also lead and participate in projects aligning with future strategies of Scania and TRATON.
As a Business Developer for Packaging Process your main responsibilities will include:
- Improving Processes: Find and implement ways to make packaging processes more efficient and sustainable, with the perspective of end-to-end
- Development Projects: Lead and participate in projects that improve and innovate our packaging logistics
- Global and Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with teams around the world, within difference functions, including in China, to develop and implement packaging solutions
- TRATON Integration: Collaborate within TRATON with a Group before Brand perspective
- Problem-Solving: Solve complex challenges by using different methods and solution strategies
- Strategy Contribution: Help shape and execute Scania's global packaging strategy, focusing on cost & sustainability
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities and scope may change over time based on project and team needs. Initially, your main responsibilities will include:
- Contributing to cross-functional and cross-brand projects related to the packaging selection process
- Identifying, initiating, developing, and coordinating different development projects and assignments, including analysis and business case creation to propose the best way forward
- Solving problems and establishing new ways of working
- Contributing to our global Packaging Strategy
Who You Are
You are an ambitious individual with good communication and relation-building skills. Your structured approach and can do-attitude, will enable you to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders for a positive outcome. Furthermore, you share knowledge and have the ability to positively influence others.
We also believe that you:
- Have a University degree (or comparable), preferably within Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or similar
- Have work experience within logistics or procurement e.g. supply chain analyst, supply chain development, and/or a project management focused role
- Easily see the bigger picture, understand the details and see opportunities for continuous improvement
- Are enthusiastic and like to work in a fast-changing environment, you are triggered by challenges
- Keeping deadlines and reaching goals is important to you
- Are skilled when it comes to organizing and planning
- Are familiar with accomplishing consequence analysis and creating business cases
- Are skilled within Excel, Power BI or similar analytics tools and base your solutions on facts & data
- Are comfortable building and maintaining relationships, both within and outside the organization
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
