Business IT Solution Developer - Credit & AML

We offer financing and insurance of Scania & MAN products through our seven branches in the Nordic and Baltic countries. With a customer finance portfolio of approximately SEK 27 billion, TRATON Finans AB is one of the largest financial services companies within TRATON Financial Services. The company has around 130 employees, of which half are located at the headquarters in Södertälje.

We are looking for a Business IT Solution Developer – Credit & AML to join our Process & IT Support team. In this role, you will act as the link between business and technology, driving the development, enhancement, and support of critical Credit and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) solutions used across our Nordic and Baltic markets.

 

You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, internal teams, and external software vendors to transform business needs into scalable and efficient IT solutions. Working within a modern and highly integrated application landscape, you will help ensure secure, compliant, and seamless customer and financing processes while contributing to the continuous improvement of our digital capabilities.

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Analyze business needs and translate them into functional and technical requirements.
  • Design technical solutions together with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Collaborate with vendors such as BanqSoft throughout development and implementation.
  • Develop and maintain integrations, automations, and smaller application enhancements.
  • Participate in testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Ensure delivered solutions align with our architecture, quality standards, and business processes.
  • Partner with the respective business departments to identify, prioritize, and implement improvements within the Credit & AML application landscape.

To be successful in this role, you likely have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience developing and maintaining business applications.
  • Experience working with system integrations, APIs, and SQL databases.
  • Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Experience collaborating with external software vendors or development partners.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge business and technical perspectives.
  • Fluency in English.

 

It is considered an advantage if you have experience with:

  • Credit, Financing, Leasing, or AML/KYC processes.
  • Financial services or other regulated industries.
  • BanqSoft solutions such as CoreView or Preview.
  • Working in international and cross-functional environments.
  • Swedish language skills.

The Process & IT Support team is responsible for developing, supporting, and continuously improving the business-critical applications and processes that enable TRATON Finans' operations in the Nordics & Baltics.

 

On the IT side, our Business Analysts, Solution Developers, Application Support Specialists, and Information Security function work closely with the business and external partners to deliver secure, efficient, and innovative solutions across sales, credit, AML, finance, insurance, and reporting.

 

Alongside our IT responsibilities, we also have a dedicated team providing Central Administration & Support, managing operational services such as rental, factoring, and contract administration to ensure efficient day-to-day operations and high-quality customer service.

 

Together, we combine business expertise, technical competence, and operational excellence to support Scania Finans throughout the entire business lifecycle.
