Role Summary
As a Certification Engineer at Scania, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our products comply with national regulations across various markets. You will be responsible for planning and participating in certification inspections and tests, supporting markets with necessary product details for type approvals, and monitoring legal requirements. Your role will also involve troubleshooting type approval systems and improving processes and collaboration with other teams. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a broad network, both internally and externally, and contribute to the development of sustainable transport solutions.
Job Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the compliance of our products on each market. Your responsibilities will include:
• Planning and participating in national certification inspections and tests
• Supporting the markets with details regarding our product necessary for the national type approvals
• Monitor the legal requirements for the markets you are responsible for
• Support and trouble shoot in the systems used for type approval
• Improve the processes and the collaboration with others

• A strong foundation in mechanical, electrical, or data engineering, enabling you to understand and navigate complex technical requirements.
• Experience with regulatory requirements or design in the automotive industry, equipping you to handle compliance and certification processes effectively.
• A highly structured approach and the capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring that all responsibilities are met efficiently.
• Excellent skills in explaining technical details and collaborating with diverse teams and cultures.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken, as working in a multicultural team is a prerequisite.
