Chief Engineer - Smart Vehicle Function and E-mobility

For the department Software Defined Scania (EG) we are looking for chief engineers

•    Group R&D EE SW Areas: Collaborating with Group R&D to develop and enhance software solutions that meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
•    Customer-Focused Software Functionality: Delivering software that enhances the customer experience by understanding and translating customer needs into effective solutions.
•    Technology Integration: Integrating cutting-edge technologies into our products to create robust and reliable solutions.
•    Operational Excellence: Continuously analyzing data and optimizing processes to ensure our products are innovative, efficient, and reliable.
•    Prototype Development: Developing and testing prototypes in “Transport lab” and customer settings to refine our solutions and meet real-world requirements.
•    Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitoring market trends and competitors to ensure our products remain competitive and relevant.

 

Key Requirements:
•    In-depth vehicle knowledge and holistic understanding of the complete vehicle.
•    Awareness of market trends and competitor analysis.
•    Versatility in handling various tasks and responsibilities.
•    Strong verbal, written, and rhetorical communication skills.
•    Genuine interest in customer needs and business acumen.
•    Analytical skills and proficiency in operational data analysis.
•    Experience in prototype development and software development.
•    Knowledge of military technology.
•    Valid driving license
•    Experience with battery electric vehicles development is meritorious
