As Competence Manager for Production & Logistics (P&L) in Södertälje, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our organization has the right skills and capabilities to meet the challenges of the future.

Role Summary
As Competence Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing competence strategies that secure the skills needed for both today and the future. You will work closely with production units, People & Culture (P&C), Scania Academy, and Learning & Development professionals, driving initiatives that enhance learning, talent attraction, and career development.
You will also strengthen external collaborations with schools, municipalities, and other key stakeholders to build a robust talent pipeline.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and drive the competence strategy for P&L Södertälje.
- Collaborate with production units to identify and secure future competence needs.
- Work closely with Scania Academy and Learning & Development teams to create impactful training and development programs.
- Coordinate and contribute to development programs and learning initiatives that support employees' growth and career progression.
- Foster a learning culture where competence development is an integral part of daily operations.
- Build and expand partnerships with Södertälje municipality, schools, and external organizations to attract and develop future talents and specialists.
- Increase visibility of career paths and development opportunities for both current and future employees.
- Actively participate in and contribute to P&L’s global Community of Expertise for Competence Development.
Who You Are
We are looking for a visionary and engaging leader who thrives in both strategic and operational work. You are self-driven, structured, and skilled at building relationships and influencing stakeholders across the organization. You bring:
- A university degree in HR, Pedagogy, Organizational Development, Industrial Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in strategic and operational competence development, learning & development, or talent management.
- A strong ability to develop and implement competence strategies within a large organization.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience in leading workshops and presenting to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to build and lead networks, working effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.

- You have a strategic mindset but also enjoy taking hands-on responsibility.
