Role Summary

 

TFS operates within a strong Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) framework designed to ensure transparency, accountability and full compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The GRC team serves as a global center of excellence across areas such as anti-corruption, AML, internal controls, whistleblowing and investigations, governance and policy management, risk, ethics and information governance.

 

This role sits within the Information Compliance area, led by the Compliance Officer for Information Compliance. The team supports the business by providing expert advice, training and regulatory intelligence across a growing regulatory landscape, including:

 

  • Data Protection, Privacy and Cybersecurity
  • Artificial Intelligence and other emerging technologies
  • EBA Outsourcing and DORA
  • Open Data and Antitrust

Job Responsibilities

 

We are looking for an junior-level Compliance Specialist with expertise in data protection and an interest in any of the above areas. Tasks include but are not limited to:

 

  • Supporting the Data Protection Officer (DPO) in day-to-day activities and ongoing compliance projects
  • Drafting, reviewing, improving, and helping implement data protection policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Monitoring regulatory developments in the EU and globally and supporting updates to internal frameworks
  • Maintaining and administering the OneTrust platform and supporting first-line stakeholders in related processes
  • Conducting monitoring activities and compliance assessments, including collaboration on ROPAs, TIAs, LIAs and DPIAs
  • Supporting incident management, including personal data breach handling and regulatory notifications
  • Assisting with responses to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs)
  • Contributing to internal training sessions and compliance awareness initiatives
  • Supporting vendor assessments and data processing and/or outsourcing agreements
  • Acting as deputy for the line manager when required

 

 

Who You Are

 

You are an early-career compliance professional with a solid foundation in data protection and a genuine interest in regulatory topics beyond privacy. You are comfortable working in regulated environments and enjoy collaborating across functions and geographies.

 

Essential Qualifications

 

  • Degree in law or a related field; a relevant master’s degree is required
  • 2-3 years of experience in information law, privacy or data protection compliance
  • Strong command of English and experience working in a multicultural environment

 

Desirable Experience

 

  • Exposure to additional compliance areas such as cybersecurity, AI, EBA outsourcing, DORA, open data, antitrust, incident handling or risk management
  • Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills
  • Experience with or knowledge of the OneTrust suite
  • Understanding of the three lines of defense model

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Experience working within complex or international corporate structures
  • IAPP or equivalent certification
  • International work or study experience
