In this role, you’ll partner closely with agile team members, product owners, scrum masters, and other teams within the Vehicle Software Factory Definition VCT to deliver meaningful, high-value data solutions that make a real impact.

Job Responsibilities

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Design and build reliable, scalable data pipelines using AWS services

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure that platform features truly support both business and data needs

Who You Are

You are a thoughtful, solution-oriented engineer who enjoys building modern, cloud-based data solutions that empower others. You thrive in an agile environment where teamwork, learning, and innovation are encouraged, and you take pride in delivering well-structured, scalable, and secure data infrastructure.

You bring experience with:

AWS (S3, ECS, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, Secrets Manager)
Snowflake for cloud data warehousing

Docker for containerization
Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
GitLab CI/CD for automation and deployment
Python (object-oriented) and SQL for pipelines and workflows
• Basic knowledge of Apache Kafka or other streaming platforms
• Familiarity with tools like Keycloak for authentication/authorization

Soft Skills We Value

We believe great data engineering is about people as much as technology. We value individuals who are:

• Collaborative and communicative across teams and disciplines
• Proactive, organized, and eager to find smart solutions
• Attentive to detail, ensuring quality, security, and reliability
• Self-driven yet supportive, thriving in a fast-evolving tech landscape
• Service-minded, enabling others through accessible and robust data platforms

Nice to Have

• Experience with cross-functional agile collaboration
• Exposure to data governance and platform monitoring practices
• Familiarity with analytics enablement in a product development context

Experience in the automotive industry is a plus, but not required. Fluency in English is necessary; Swedish is not a must.
