What you will do

 

As a Data Scientist in the agile team you will be part of a data analytics group right in the centre of electrification within Scania and TRATON, empowering the organisation with insights, dashboards and troubleshooting – all based on rolling vehicle data collection that your team maintains, develops and quality assures, using technologies in the vehicles as well as in the Cloud. 
The role also includes building of data products which incorporates multi-faceted tasks, both technical development as well as collecting needs from stakeholders, plan and define problems, investigating data sources available and collecting feedback. 
 

About you


We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field. 
You should have proficiency in modern programming languages like Python, experience with data analytics and data preparation, and familiarity with SQL for database querying. 

Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure for data storage and processing is also important. 

 

Other skills, such as knowledge in CI/CD pipeline process, version control systems, data visualization tools or experience from the automotive industry is meriting.

Strong problem-solving skills, a hands-on troubleshooting mindset, and excellent communication abilities for presenting data-driven insights to diverse audiences are essential.
