Role Summary

Are you passionate about enhancing the driver’s experience through cutting-edge UI development? We are looking for a Driver Display GUI Developer to create high-performance, intuitive interfaces using Qt Quick/QML. You'll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and product managers to bring premium-quality driver displays to life.

Job Responsibilities

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining frontend user interfaces for embedded systems, ensuring high performance and efficiency. Working closely with designers, you will transform wireframes into functional UIs while optimizing for resource-constrained environments. You will integrate APIs, manage data flow, and collaborate with backend developers to create seamless user experiences. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and debug UI-related issues, conduct performance tests, and participate in code reviews to uphold quality standards. Writing clean, maintainable code and staying updated on the latest industry trends will be essential to delivering innovative and reliable driver display solutions.

Who You Are

We have listed some key qualifications that will help you hit the ground running. However, since we hire for will rather than just skill, don’t hesitate to apply if you believe you’re the right fit!

•    3+ years of experience as a frontend developer, preferably within embedded systems.
•    Experience developing UIs for resource-constrained environments (e.g., embedded Linux).
•    Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
•    Experience working closely with designers to implement complex UI/UX solutions.
•    Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
•    Understanding of performance optimization in embedded systems.
•    Experience working with Agile methodologies.
•    Bonus: Experience with Qt/QML, C/C++, or knowledge of security and data protection in embedded systems.
•    A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

We believe your mindset and way of working are just as important as your technical skills. You are a problem solver with a keen eye for detail, ensuring high-quality code and troubleshooting effectively. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you enjoy sharing knowledge while working closely with designers, developers, and product managers. Your strong communication skills allow you to express ideas clearly and contribute to a positive team culture.
As an international team, we require strong written and spoken English; Swedish is a plus. Experience in the automotive industry or embedded systems is an advantage.
We welcome applicants from all backgrounds – your unique experience and perspectives is valuable to us.
