Engine Control System Developer
In the department for Engine Control Systems we are responsible for development of control systems for combustion engines for all powertrains in the Traton group. An intensive technical development is ongoing to bring our already world leading engine platform to the next level of sustainable transport solutions.
A crucial part of this is the gas exchange system where our group is responsible to develop the controlling, diagnosis and models for all our engines. We are now looking for an additional developer to rise the challenge together with us.
Your role
You will be responsible for part of the software within gas exchange system. Work will span the full development process, from requirements, concept development and implementation to testing and verification.
Typical tasks for a developer have a great variety and could be such as:

Lead development of new or improved functions and implement these in the control unit

Plan and carry out test and calibration in engine test cells and vehicles

Follow up and act on deviations from field tests

Discuss and review functions and code with colleagues in the group
Creativity, problem solving and critical thinking is highly valued as we often discuss the challenges to find solutions together and you are expected to contribute to the team deliveries.
As a supplier of engine control system in the Traton group and to external customers you will often work in cross-functional teams with international projects with contacts both within and outside Scania.

You have a B.Sc. or M.Sc in the fields of embedded systems, mechatronics, physics or relevant work experience.
