We continuously develop how we work with people, leadership, and digital solutions. People Business Service & Support Sweden is part of People & Culture (P&C), supporting Scania’s managers and employees with HR services that enable everyday operations and long-term development.
About the team
You will join a dedicated team of 25 colleagues responsible for the HR system landscape in Sweden. We act as the bridge between business needs and digital execution, maintaining and developing systems that support efficient, secure, and user-friendly processes.
Your role
As an Expert User, you will be the functional specialist for Scania’s internal salary management system, specifically focused on our unique blue-collar compensation agreements in addition to your contribution to develop and support other HR systems. Your mission is to ensure that complex collective agreements are translated accurately into system logic, while also ensuring stable operation and continuous improvement of local systems.
Key responsibilities include:
- System Ownership: Ensuring stable operation, handling incidents, and managing deviations within local HR and salary management systems.
- Requirements: Translating Swedish business needs into technical requirements for both local and global HR solutions.
- Quality Assurance: Leading testing activities and overseeing the implementation of new functionalities.
- Advisory: Acting as a subject matter expert for stakeholders, providing guidance on system usage and end-to-end HR process improvements.
Who you are
You are a "translator" who enjoys moving between the world of HR policy and technical system architecture. You work methodically, take full ownership of your tasks, and have the analytical depth to identify root causes in complex data sets. Since you will interact with both local teams and global stakeholders, clear communication and a collaborative mindset are essential.
Qualifications
- Education: Relevant bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
- Technical Experience: Proven experience working with Time Management Systems or Payroll-related software.
- Domain Expertise: Experience with complex compensation agreements (collective bargaining/union agreements) is highly meritorious.
- Analytical Skillset: Ability to handle requirement specifications, system testing, and process mapping.
- Language: Fluency in Swedish/English is required to navigate local agreements and global projects.
