Role Summary

 

Scania Group is seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors professional specializing in Employee Central, Compensation, and Variable Pay modules to lead and manage these essential systems globally. In this role, you will act as a strategic advisor, collaborating with business teams to design efficient, automated, and standardized system processes within People & Culture across 59 countries.

 

You will play a key role in ensuring alignment with Scania’s global HR transformation roadmap, while staying up to date with the SAP SuccessFactors roadmap to deliver smooth rollouts and updates of new features and enhancements.

 

We are looking for a professional with extensive expertise in HR transformation using SAP SuccessFactors in complex, multinational organizations. You will be responsible for developing and delivering both short- and long-term strategies for the assigned modules, contributing to key projects, and supporting the transition away from legacy systems.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Global Leadership & Advisory: Serve as the global strategic advisor for SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Compensation, and Variable Pay modules, offering expert-level guidance.
  • HR Transformation: Lead the development and implementation of efficient, scalable, and automated HR system processes across global operations.
  • Best Practices: Apply industry-leading practices to optimize the use of SuccessFactors in Scania’s People & Culture functions globally.
  • Module Development: Create and manage both short- and long-term roadmaps for the assigned modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and SAP’s enhancements.
  • Feature Rollout: Monitor SAP SuccessFactors updates and lead the successful implementation of new features and functionalities.
  • System Transition: Provide strategic input into decommissioning plans for legacy systems and ensure smooth transitions to new solutions.
  • Global Standardization: Drive consistency and scalability in HR processes as part of Scania’s global HR transformation strategy.
  • Process Optimization: Champion automation and workflow enhancements aligned with Scania’s digital HR roadmap.
  • Role Permissions & Data Insights: Design role-based permissions and contribute to data governance, reporting, and analytics within SuccessFactors.

 

Qualifications

 

  • At least 7 years of experience with SAP SuccessFactors, with expertise in Employee Central, Compensation, and Variable Pay.
  • Proven success in HR transformation initiatives within multinational organizations (minimum two end-to-end programs).
  • Background in consultancy roles is a plus, with strong advisory experience.
  • Current SAP SuccessFactors certifications in relevant modules.
  • Hands-on experience in workflow optimization and automation (design, configuration, testing, deployment).
  • Solid understanding of role-based permissions, data governance, and reporting within SuccessFactors.
  • Ability to operate as a strategic advisor and effectively engage with global stakeholders.

 

Desirable Skills

 

  • Experience in transitioning from legacy HR systems to modern platforms.
  • Expertise in data governance, reporting, and analytics within HR systems.
  • Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership.
  • Practical experience in designing and implementing efficient processes in global organizations.
  • Ability to navigate diverse cultural and operational landscapes while ensuring consistency across regions.
