We’re Hiring to a newly created role as Head of Group Autonomous Product Management. Join us as in a strategic, high-influence role at the heart of shaping the future of our product ecosystem.

 

 

Role Summary

 

As the bridge between our Group R&D organisation and the brands, you will own the product vision and define the roadmap that ensures we build solutions for customers true value. Your leadership will help us deliver breakthrough software and autonomous products that scale, differentiate, and drive sustainable business growth. You will be a part of the Group Service and Autonomous Portfolio Management team.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Build a team and working methods together with Group R&D to take TRATON Group in to the next era of excelence when it comes autonomous solutions.
  • Product Vision & Roadmap Ownership
  • Prioritize a roadmap that balances quick wins with strategic, foundational capabilities.
  • Define a compelling long-term product vision aligned with our Brands strategy.
  • Act as the strategic link between Group R&D and our Brands.
  • Collaborate closely with R&D leaders to shape the technical direction.
  • Set development budget boundaries aligned with capability and financial targets.
  • Partner with our Brands commercial and TRATON Group Finance to identify high-value segments and monetization opportunities.
  • Connect product investments to business cases and drive ROI-focused decision-making.
  • Champion a deep understanding of customer workflows, pains, and outcomes.
  • Align teams across the organisation around product strategy and customer impact.
  • Engage throughout development cycles, ensuring targets, timelines, and outcomes are met.

 

 

Who You Are

 

  • Have 10+ years of senior leadership experience with strong business development and R&D responsibility.
  • Bring deep experience from advanced software development and autonomous technology
  • You are a strategic thinker with a passion for customer-centric product development.
  • A strong technical partner who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments.
  • Have a commercial mindset who understands market dynamics and value creation.
  • A leader able to create clarity, inspire teams, and deliver results.

TRATON Group Product Management has its home base in Södertälje, and the role requires significant presence both with the team and out in the field, close to our Brands, customers and key partners.

Within GPM, the E-Mobility team leads the Group-level product planning, roadmap development and strategic direction for electric mobility. We work closely with brand Sales & Marketing organizations, engineering and Industrial Operations to deliver high-impact solutions at the right time and with the right modularized performance steps for the Group.

We ensure, besides interesting & challenging tasks, we have a lot of fun as a team facing these challenges.
