The head office is located in Södertälje but the organization is represented at the production sites in Oskarshamn, Luleå, and Zwolle in the Netherlands and Angers in France. 

We are now looking for a new Manager to our Occupational Health organization for Sweden to lead the organization through change and transformation. On an overall level we want you to be both experienced in the way we work at Scania today and at the same time able to grasp the occupational health and safety needs of tomorrow.

Your tasks

 

You will be responsible for leading and developing the Occupational Health function in Sweden which consists of 4 customer teams based  in Södertälje, Luleå, and in Oskarshamn.

 

You will have overall responsibility for leading and developing the organization in line with our strategic plan.

 

You will play a central role in building and maintaining networks, promoting collaboration both internally and externally, and ensuring business efficiency, ensure and promote health, safety and sustainable productivity across all parts of the organization.

 

The in-house Occupational Health Provider is unique and we are an independent expert resource in the work environment area. In total the Swedish organization consists of about 60 employees.
 

Our occupational health organization is working to prevent and eliminate health risks in the workplace and has the competence to identify and describe the connections between work environment, organization, productivity and health.

The starting point for the work is the individual, the workplace and the organization. The focus is to create a well-functioning work ability and good emotional, cognitive and physical health for the employees.

This role requires strong people skills in order to influence, collaborate, motivate, and drive timely and effective results. It´s also important to have the experience of working with culture, behavioural and organizational changes.

You are clear as a leader and have a curious mindset.

You have the ability to create commitment and participation and to collaborate with team members and business stakeholders at all levels of the organization

 

You have:

 

- Proven experience in senior leadership, preferably in business/operation or in a similar role.

- Strong ability to build and maintain professional networks.

- Experience in leading and driving change initiatives.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to create engagement.

- Business-minded with experience in managing budgets and achieving results.

- Relevant academic background.

The role includes business travel to the sites in Sweden and abroad.

You need to be fluent in Swedish and English.
