EYSD – Service Products, Diagnostic Development and Test

16,000 mechanics maintain, troubleshoot and repair Scania vehicles and engines worldwide on a daily basis. High demands on the product properties uptime, repair and maintenance cost require good methods, tools and spare parts. Vehicle Service Information (EYS), is responsible for developing the support needed and making our products more service-friendly in collaboration with the development departments. 
The EYSD section is responsible for developing diagnostic support for our workshops. The section consists of 4 groups that ensure that the right troubleshooting support is in place so that our workshops can find the faulty component as quickly as possible and give our customers high uptime.

Your duties


You lead the work and coach group managers in the daily operations. You also contribute with a strategic perspective in the daily work and together with the groups you set goals for the future and follow up on these. As Head of Section at EYSD, you are responsible for setting goals and priorities for future product increments in the release trains that are run within the section.
You are also part of the EYS management team and contribute to the development of the entire department. Our way of working in the management team is permeated by openness, dialogue and you are expected to contribute with your experiences and opinions in that spirit.


 

Your profile


You have a master degree of engineering or equivalent with a great interest in people and have good communication skills. You have held leadership positions for many years and experience from embedded systems, R&D or service market is an advantage. 
You have a positive attitude and find it engaging with many contact surfaces. Your way is motivating and inspiring for your employees and your surroundings and you are passionate about being part of the work to offer our workshops the world's best aftermarket support.
You master both Swedish and English in speech and writing.
