IT Business Controller

Role Summary

As an IT Business Controller, you will play a crucial role in our team by developing and maintaining complex financial models and reports to support various business functions. In this role, you will support our business & IT department, playing a vital part in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. You will also contribute to overall financial consolidations and governance across the IT organization. You will develop and maintain financial models, perform variance analyses, and generate reports to support data-driven decision-making. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, ensuring accuracy and consistency across financial presentations and processes. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential, while experience with HFM, SAP, and an understanding of IT systems or project environments will be considered advantageous.

Job Responsibilities

•    Support Sales & Marketing IT with budget, forecast, and monthly financial follow-up.
•    Drive and contribute to IT-wide financial consolidation and performance reporting.
•    Prepare and present clear and compelling financial analyses to business.
•    Partner with stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Business to understand and support financial needs.
•    Contribute to governance and project follow-up through structured reporting.
•    Continuously seek ways to improve financial processes and tools using your analytical mindset.
•    Utilize systems like SAP, Power BI & HFM for data retrieval and reporting.
•    Collaborate with and challenge stakeholders in a constructive, solution-oriented way.

Required Qualifications

•    University degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
•    1–3 years of experience in finance, controlling, or business analysis.
•    Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
•    Good understanding of financial reporting and business planning processes.
•    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
•    Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
•    Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
•    Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
•    Experience with SAP and HFM is a plus.
•    Previous exposure to IT environments or tech-related projects.
•    General IT competence and digital mindset.
•    Knowledge of other Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Power BI).

You can analyse big data volumes, see the main results, and convert that into pedagogic communication material for various stakeholders.  We think you have good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint and good general IT competence for personal efficiency. Experience in projects related to IT is considered a strong merit.
