Implementation Manager E-Mobility

Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values – customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste – are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.

Role Summary

In the future, every form of transport can be electric. And for a more sustainable world, many of them will have to be. Today, we can already see a fair number of hybrid or fully-electric buses in our cities, transporting people sustainably. We can also see refuse collectors operating silently in urban or residential areas. But the transport of goods is catching up – not only in urban transport, but in regional as well. And with long-haul-capable trucks just around the corner. In fact, electrification is happening so fast that we estimate that 10% of our vehicle sales will be electric during 2025 – and a staggering 50% by the end of this decade.

This will of course also be a game changer when offering electrified solutions to our customers. New tools are needed and different approaches and methods come into play.

Job Responsibilities

With a product portfolio including electrified solutions, a whole new set of tools and methods are required when quoting offerings to the customer, compared with traditional vehicles running on diesel, gas or ethanol.

To complement Scania’s electrified product range we are therefore scaling up related tools and methods, either bundled in Power Apps or as part of our sales tool Sales Portal. Right now we are focusing on:

•    Operational analysis and range calculations
•    Charging optimisation and planning
•    Fleet analysis
•    Chassis optimisation
•    TCO calculations

Your task as an Implementation Manager E-Mobility will be to secure that the tools and methods being developed reach our global presales and sales organisations. This means implementing, educating and following-up that our tools and methods are used in the intended way in our global network.

You will work with both common and E-mobility specific tools in the area of presales and sales, giving you great opportunities to get a good overall understanding of the business as well as our products. Besides implementation tasks, you will be a key player bringing local needs back into our central organisations as input to further development and improvements of our tools and methods.

We work in both smaller teams and independently in a very open-minded and diverse environment. We have a great mix of people with different background and in different ages, together contributing to a well-balanced and  open-minded atmosphere.
Due to its nature of being very cross-functional nature, the position provides good opportunities to get in contact with different parts of the Scania organisation. As the users are positioned all over the world, you will also have frequent international contacts and the possibility to travel.
